The app every registered dietitian (RD) and Pharm D needs. Can you calculate a complete TPN profile in 21 seconds?

Simple TPN is a total parenteral nutrition calculator created to simplify your life and save time without compromising results. And now with added bonus of Simple Enteral Nutrition as well.

Input patients height, age and weight and let Simple TPN do the rest! Dont have their weight or height in metric? No problem. Convert pounds to kilograms and inches to centimeters in one click. Calculate BMI, ideal and adjusted body weight, basal energy requirements and multiply by a stress factor.

Simple TPN then calculates protein, lipids and dextrose based on those values. You choose the lipid, dextrose or amino acid concentration of your choice. It then calculates the calories, grams, percent of calories and volume of each category. The amount of free water and the osmolality of the solution are also given. These do not include added electrolytes which vary with institution and patient. Simple TPN alerts you if your formula is not able to be mixed with the given parameters. The final screen shows the final complete profile of all the values from your patient, which can be exported to the Camera Roll and printed.

Also works as a TPN concentrator! Fluid restricted patients can be difficult. Quickly calculate the minimum volume needed to meet the specified needs. It also alerts you if the volume you entered isnt adequate.

Now you can calculate nutritional values based on duration and rate of 34 different enteral formulas.

Simple TPN is an adjunct tool and not meant to replace clinical knowledge and decision making. Simple TPN cannot and will not be held legally, financially, or medically responsible for decisions made using this application. All data should be confirmed and double checked for accuracy.
